Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Katie had an early love of all things beauty, knowing at 13 years old that she wanted to go to beauty school. That dream became a reality when she began attending the Mary Reid International School of Beauty. After graduating with her Esthetics, Massage, and Nail degree in 1998, Katie spent the next 6 years working while traveling the world, from Indonesia to the L'Oreal head office in London. Having lived in the United States since 2004, Katie is now the proud owner of Highland Esthetics spa in Boise, Idaho and a wife and mother of two. Katie is certified in many different practices, including Face Reality acne treatment and oncology skin care and specializes in corrective and anti-aging skin care and facials.
